Parkview Arts/Science Magnet’s dance program has been in its current format since 1998. Students admitted to the program study two dance-related classes per year exploring dance technique, styles, composition, history, performance, and cultural heritage.
Students are exposed to different career opportunities as dancers, choreographers, critics, university teachers, studio teachers, certified dance educators, exercise instructors, arts manager, dance therapists, and dance documentation and reconstructionists.
